Interversity Event: Roots of Resistance

You see (or maybe just sense) that something is horribly wrong with the national obsession for standardized testing in elementary, middle, and secondary education.

You're a teacher who sees students robbed of a chance to learn well, who feels your vocation is being seized from you by legislators and state bureaucrats.
You're a student who feels the suffocating weight of past and future tests smothering you, preventing you from pursuing your own interests in school.

What can you do?

Roots of Resistance is an online conference sponsored by Interversity that will bring together parents, teachers, and students who have begun to resist the testing juggernaut. They will share their stories, their ideas, their advice for how you, too, can find appropriate ways to resist.
