Interversity: a smooshing together of internet and university. Both are learning environments. Both are built on conversations, people connecting with and contending with each other. One is still a bit too wild; the other has become a bit too tame. We hope to bring together the best of both worlds—the sizzle of the net, the sustainability of the university.

Interversity provides technical and administrative support for Interversity Coop, a volunteer-driven open learning environment, where teachers and learners are invited to shape their learning environments, pursue their work how they see fit (as opposed to following institutional orders and requirements), and have fun. If you've ever wanted to teach using methods or subjects that don't fit institutional contexts, or if you've felt schools don't provide you the opportunity to learn how you'd like, Interversity Coop may be the place for you.
